Justice or Unjustice


Albert Haynesworth: defensive tackler for the Redskins,was charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse. Allegedly of fondling a server's breast. A grand jury indicted Haynesworth, if convicted he faces up to six months in jail and afine up to $1,000.00.

The Philadelphia Eagles,have placed the franchise tag on Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick. Vick, led the Eagles to a 10-6 record and the NFC east tital this season.Vick, set career highs yards passing, touchdowns passing and  touchdowns rushing.

Satchel Paige:A baseball legend

Leroy Robert Paige,was born in Mobile Alabama. He was the seventh of 11 children. Pitched his first professional game with the Negro Southern league in 1926. In 1948 he pitched his first major league game, first start in the America league. Also he was the first black pitcher in the World series this all happen in the same year.He pitched his last major game in 1965. Satchel, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971. He died in 1982. 

Allen Inverson:

Allen, is one of the most recogniqable athletes in the world, by his cornrows and tattoos. Allen, first love was football. He played football in high school, with his speed he was an unstoppable kick returner. Allen, went to Georgetown. John Thompson, was his coach and sometimes acted as a substitute father. Coach,Phil Jackson, said he would pay to watch  Allen,play. Allen, was so fast they called him [rabbit]. Allen, was the first Philadelphia 76 to be come NBA rookie of the year.

ONE GREAT RECIEVER [JERRY RICE]

Jerry Rice, was from Crawford, Mississippi. His football career at  Moor High Shool, he  finished with all State honors as a receiver and a defensive back. He attended  Mississippi, Valley State University, He was selected by the San Franciso 49ers in the first round of the 1985 NFL draft. Jerry, played football for 20 years. He was selected to the Pro Bowl thirteen times,won three super bowl rings. Now a broadcast and commentator.

Machine Of Bowling [Earl Anthony]

Anthony, was born in Kent, Washington.and grew up in Tacomo. His first sport was baseball, and he was a good enough pitcher to be offered a contract by the Baltimore Orioles, but the deal fell through because he tore the rotator cuff muscle in his throwing arm. As a young boy he worked as a pinsetter. In1963 he turned to professional bowling. In1974,he began establishing himself as the world/s best Pro-bowler. In 1975 he became the Pro-bower to win over a $100,000 in a single season. In 1978 suffered a heart attack. In 1982. Retired from in 1983.

Notablie Bowler [Dick Weber]

Weber, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He began bowling while still a young boy. In the mid 1950s Weber, was asked to join the famed Budweiser Bowling team of  St,Louis. Weber, fame as a bowler grew rapidly. He dominated the bowling scene in the first half of the 60s, was named bowler of the year. He was named one of the 20 best bowlers of the 20th. century. Weber, played a key role in organizing the Professional Bowlers Association. He said bowling is not just fun and  recreation, it is a legitimate sport.

Hank Aaron: A Super Hitter

Henry Louis Aaron, was born in Mobile Alabama. He was not called Hank until he began playing professional baseball. Hank went to Center High School in Mobile. He played shortstop there. From 1959 to1962 there was 2 All star games played each year. Hank, played in all of them. Babe Ruth, lifetime total of 714. Hank pass that record with 715 career homers. He was  inducted into the Hall of fame in 1982. Hank, retired in 1976 with a total of 755 home runs.

Erine Banks; A Baseball Legend

Ernest Banks; was born in Dallas, Texas, Graduates from high school in 1950.Signs professional contract
with the Kansas City Monarchs of the Negro American League; toured with Jackie Robinsons all star team.
Serves in the U.S. Army also played  on the army baseball team. In 1961 Banks, moves from shortstop to to first base. Retires after 19 seasons. Inducted into Baseball Hall of Fame,1977 after becoming only the eighth player selected in his first year of eligibility.

The Dreamer [Hakeen Olajuwon]

Dreamer, was the nickname for Hakeen. He was born in Lagos,Nigeria. He came to America, and went to the University of Houston. In college he spelled his name Akeen, but later changed to Hakeen. In 1983 he was named out standing player of the NCAA tournament. Hakeen, was the first player chosen in 1984 NBA draft. Hakeen, was voted the leagues most valuable player and the Rockets,won the NBA. Championship.In 1993 he became an America, citizen that made him eligible to play for the USA basketball team in the 1996 Olympics. He was one of the first player .chosen by the [Dream Team]

Big Man Big Dreams

Shaquille O'Neal,born in Newark, New Jersey,March 6, 1972.In1990 Shaq enter Louisiana State University. In 1991 he was named to the All America first team. In1992 he leaves collage enter the NBA draft. The Orllando Magic drafts him with its number one pick. Shaq wins rookie of the year award after his season.

In1996 he played on the U.S. olympic team the won the Gold Medal in Atlanta. His father helped him a lot with his backetball skills.

Slick Rick: Ricky Sanders

Ricky, was born in Temple, Texas. Sanders, played tailback at  Southwest Texas State, now Texas State. Sanders, could run like a deer. The Redskins, traded a third round draft choice for Sanders. He played 8 years for the Redskins. He was more fluid than his Posse comrades Art Monk and Gary Clark. Most of his production came when he was part of the Redskins dangerous wide receiver trio known as The Posse.

Sensation Quarterback

Kordell Stewart, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a freshman, at John Ehret High School he made the varsity football team. His senior year he was named All-State, All-American and Louisiana High School
MVP and also New Orleans player of the year. Kordell, was the Pittsburgh Steelers, quarterback he was named Steelers Rookie of the year 1995.

Larry Bird;

Larry Bird; went to high school Springs Valley, French Lick, Indiana. College Indiana State University. Drafted by the Celtices, 1978 sixth overall. Bird, played thirteen seasons with the Boston Celtics, claimed three NBA.titles,three M.V.P awards and an Olympic gold medal and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1998. He was head coach of the Indiana Pacers from 1997 to 2000, and currently served as the teams president of basketball operations.

Mr. Showtime:


Magic Johnson, nickname was Mr. Showtime, because of his magnetic personality with all the righ moves. Magic, played thirteen season with the Los Angeles Lakers, claimed five NBA titles, three MVP awards and an Olympic gold medal. He was elected to the Hall of Fane in 2002. He is now the chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprise, and Vice President, and part owner of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Mr. E. F. Hutton: of Football [Art Monk]

 Art Monk, was born in White Plains,New York. His goal was simple,let his achievements do the talking. Monk played 16 seasons in the N.F.L. Monk, played 13 seasons with the Redskins. He was a three time Pro Bowler and 2 times All-Pro is a nember of the N.F.L.1980 All- Decade team. Coach Joe Gibbs, gave him the nickname E.F. Hutton, because in team meeting when Monk, spoke every one would shut up to hear what he had to say.In 1992 Monk, became leaque/s all time leading receiver. Monk, and the Redskins fell into a contract dispute. The two years he played for the Jets and the Eagles. Monk, retired from the game in June 1997. The Redskins immediately signed him to a ceremonial one day contract, so that he could as a Redskin.

Pro Football Pioneer, Doug Williams

Doug, was born in Zachary,La. He was the no 1 overall  pick in the 1978 draft. Doug, was the first black quarterback ever drafted in the first round. He played his first five seasons with Tampa Bay. Two years in the United States football league. In 1986 he was designated a backup to Washingtons starter and quarterback Jay Schroeder. Williams, threw only one pass that season. In1987 Jay,was injuryed.Williams, took the Redskins, to the play off then came the Super Bowl.William, threw for a Super Bowl record four touch downs. He was named Super Bowl VMP. They beat Denver42-10 He retired after the 1989 season.
