Tom Landry,and the Cowboys

Tom Landry,coached the cowboys for twenty nine seasons.In that span, they enjoyed a stretch of qualifying for the playoffs seventeen out of eighteen seasons,and twenty straight seasons of winning records. Cowboys, won their first title in 1971.

National Football League, experienced its first sudden death game in 1958. The championship game was played between the Giants and Colts. The Colts won the game.
